Boris Yeltsin’s Museum – the first presidential museum in Russia – was opened on 25 November 2015.
The epoch of Yeltsin is a difficult and romantic period of time which cannot be estimated without considering the historical role of the first President of Russia.
The museum consists of 9 halls. The first hall is the Maze Hall devoted to the history of the Yeltsin family against the background of turbulent events of the XX century. After that, you find yourselves in a series of halls under the common title «Seven Days that changed Russia» on the first President of Russia and his epoch. The climax of the exhibition is the Hall of Freedom, a place for open discussions of civil rights and freedoms in the new Russia.
